Professional musician and recorded artist, Guy Johnson is one half of famous duo Helter Skelter, (see below) and whose credits include writing with (five times) Ivor Novello and Grammy award winning songwriter Roger Cook, as well as for Francis Rossi, lead-singer of Status Quo. Collaborating with Francis Rossi, Guy has also had a Top Twenty Hit with his brilliant and up-beat song "Going Down Town Tonight", which he wrote for Status Quo, as well as adding into the music all the catchy keyboards and backing vocals.
On electric keyboards, Guy plays and sings some of the greatest songs from recorded history - Elvis, The Beatles, Oasis, Abba, Elton John, The Kinks, Buddy Holly, Billy Joel and many more. For Weddings and Corporate events Guy can also play Acoustic Grand Piano!
BREAKING NEWS 2010
Guy has just completed writing two songs with Status Quo Front man legend, Francis Rossi, and these are included on his forthcoming album entitled “One Step At A Time.” The Album is due for release on May 3rd and is rumoured to be a very good indeed with Francis apparently at the top of his game as writer, producer, singer and of course guitarist. A Francis Rossi's 8-piece band tour is scheduled for this May to coincide with the album release.
